Rooted in the philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga and shaped by the fluidity of the Vinyasa system, Gaya Yoga Method integrates the lunisolar calendar and the wisdom of the four elements.
Each Ashtanga-inspired flow is designed to embody these natural rhythms, inviting practitioners to experience yoga not only as a physical discipline, but as a living dialogue with nature and time itself - cultivating strength, awareness and harmony both on and off the mat.
SATURDAY 11:30 - 13:00

A deeper understanding of yoga’s ethical foundations, and tools to embody them in personal and professional life. The practice of yoga extends far beyond postures and physical discipline. Rooted in the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali, the Ashtanga path - the “eight limbs” of yoga - offers a complete framework for cultivating awareness, harmony and liberation.
At the very foundation of this path stand the Yamas (ethical principles) and Niyamas (personal observances). They are not abstract philosophies, but living practices that invite us to align our inner world with our outer actions. In essence, they are yoga itself lived off the mat (99% of the practice!) - a daily discipline of kindness, truthfulness, self-reflection and conscious living.
In times of complexity and rapid change, these teachings are perhaps more relevant than ever. They provide us with a timeless compass to navigate modern life with clarity, resilience and compassion, guiding not only our personal journey, but also how we show up in relationships, communities and the world at large.
This workshop will:
• Introduce the eight limbs of yoga as a holistic system of transformation.
• Explore the Yamas & Niyamas in depth as the ethical and spiritual foundation of yoga.
• Offer reflective practices and tools for integrating them into daily life.
• Inspire participants to embody yoga authentically - in thought, word and action.

Through the use of the legs we get the lower spine. Through the use of the arms we get the upper spine.
Beautiful things happen when proper extension and alignment take place. From the alignment of the bones, muscles and articulations we add time in the pose. Permanence done with these ingredients will take your body, your brain/mind and vitality to a particular vibrant space. There’s a certain kind of blooming. From inside out and from outside inwards.
Props can be used not only to guide and inform the body/mind, but also to sharpen and deepen your access to each asana. Or just to simply make it available for diferente body types. When the body opens in alignment, breath and awareness will flow accordingly. This is the beauty of this method.

The relationship between breathing and the mind is so intimate that breathing can be used to modify our mental state. By training the mind to follow the flow of breath, thoughts (normally scattered) and senses are channeled inward—the mind calms down and a state of stillness and balance is achieved.
“Pránaýáma,” which literally means control or restriction of prana (vital energy), corresponds to yogic breathing, that is, a series of voluntary/conscious breathing techniques that seek to regulate and prolong breathing, as well as direct and store prana.
Different types of Pranayama induce different states of consciousness. And that is exactly what we will learn to do in this 90-minute workshop.
SATURDAY 14:30 - 16:00

Much is said about samadhi, the last member of Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga system. However, there is some controversy about the real meaning of this last step of his method: should we try to keep our minds free from thoughts all the time? How would this be done? What is the real purpose of Ashtanga? In this experiential workshop, we will approach this fascinating topics from a practical perspective, keeping our feet on the ground.

Join us for an immersive Yoga Nidra and Pratyahara workshop, where we’ll dive into the profound practice of conscious relaxation and sensory withdrawal. This workshop will guide you through the basics of Yoga Nidra, a transformative meditation that brings you into a state of deep relaxation, while explaining how it connects with the ancient yogic practice of Pratyahara—the art of turning inward.
What You’ll Learn:
The Essence of Yoga Nidra: Understand how this meditative state creates profound relaxation and supports your ability to rest and rejuvenate.
Pratyahara and the Senses: Discover how Pratyahara helps you withdraw from external stimuli, allowing your focus to turn inward, enhancing your Yoga Nidra experience.
Brain States & Neuroplasticity: Learn how Yoga Nidra influences brain activity and can support the rewiring of old beliefs and behaviors.
Healing Trauma & Limiting Beliefs: We’ll explore how these practices can help you access the subconscious to release stored emotions and transform outdated patterns.
In this workshop, we will explain how these powerful practices support relaxation, promote emotional healing, and help you develop a deeper sense of inner peace. You’ll walk away with a greater understanding of how to use Yoga Nidra and Pratyahara in your own life to support rest, healing, and transformation.

Unlocking what's already inside -- In this workshop we explore somatic healing, a new approach to therapy. Experience the art of letting go - "Dhyana" - in a Dynamic Meditation where I am guiding you through a transformative process of four phases including Shaking, Releasing, Moving & Stillness . For the full effect of this experience, the meditation is guided with blindfolds. Allow your body to soften and your mind to loosen. Because those who control cannot enjoy and those who enjoy cannot control. So let's start to enjoy life - fully, raw & real.
SATURDAY 16:30 - 18:00

We begin with grounding meditation, gentle movement, some vocal toning and simple breathing practices to prepare the body and mind for Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB). This practice uses a continuous, flowing rhythm of breath to open inner pathways, release tension, and invite deeper awareness. CCB can help clear emotional blockages, increase vitality, and reconnect us to a sense of wholeness. It offers a way to pause amidst the richness of activity, drop beneath the surface, and remember the quiet source within. After the Breathwork, we rest in a soothing Sound Journey, allowing the body to integrate the experience. We will close with a short sharing circle, so each participant can land with presence and connection.
This session is suitable for all levels, inviting you to gently explore inner depth and return to life from a more grounded, connected place.

An exploration of the way in which beautiful philosophical ideas are expressed through our human architecture: a weaving of densities expressing the whole. We will move and explore through somatic enquiry, integrative philosophy, sacred sound and dynamic silence to co-create a context for attuning to ourselves as part of a much bigger picture that is always in its process of unfolding.
sunday 9:30 - 11:00
-
We will put into practice the core principles of each of the eight limbs, so you can learn how to apply what is most relevant to your practice, your life, and your personal growth. Each limb supports the others, and they are deeply interconnected—guiding us toward deeper layers of ourselves.
