5th wander yogi festival
Ericeira, Portugal
1-4 OCTOBER 2026
The INVISIBLE THREAD –
WHAT CONNECTS US ALL
We’re excited to announce that the Wander Yogi Festival is returning for its 5th Edition,
set to take place at our favorite location: Casa Paço d’Ilhas in Ericeira.
Save the Date:
Retreat Pass: 1st – 4th October 2026
Day Pass: 2nd-3rd October 2026
Since the very first edition, the Wander Yogi has always been about one thing: bringing people together. Five years later, that mission feels more important than ever.
For our 5th edition, we chose a theme that goes to the heart of why we gather — and why, in the world we are living in today, this kind of space matters more than ever.
Yoga means union. A word that has never felt more necessary.
In times of division and uncertainty, we need to be reminded of what we share. Yoga has always known that beneath our differences — our stories, our struggles, our borders — there is something that connects us all. A common ground. A shared humanity. A breath that belongs to no one and to everyone.
This October, we come together to explore that connection. On the mat and off it. Within ourselves and with each other.
Because the practice of yoga is not just personal. It is, at its heart, an act of peace.
We invite you to join us.
Practice with Purpose
This year, The Invisible Thread extends beyond our festival grounds. The Wander Yogi 2026 will raise funds in support of humanitarian relief for families affected by war in Gaza and Lebanon.
Because what we practice on the mat, we must also live off it.
More details soon.

ABOUT ERICEIRA
Located only 50 km from Lisbon, Ericeira is a picturesque traditional fishing village situated on some of Portugal’s most stunning coastline.
The village became a popular summer getaway beginning in the 19th century and has maintained its unique atmosphere and appeal over the years. Its many beaches have something to offer every type of traveller, and its ideal surfing conditions earned it the distinction of being named a World Surf Reserve in 2011.
In recent years, Ericeira has developed a thriving yoga scene, with many teachers and students flocking to the area for its combination of sun, sand, surf, and spirituality.
Ericeira is a short, 30-minute drive from the Lisbon International Airport.
Best things to do in Ericeira
Bem vindo a Ericeira! Ericeira and its surroundings are definitely a place worth visiting for more than just three days. If you have some extra time besides joining the yoga festival there’s plenty of exciting activities to do in Ericeira.
Take a surf class
Ericeira gained more popularity after being named a World Surf Reserve in 2011. For that reason a lot of surfers are travelling to Ericeira to surf the cold atlantic ocean waves.
But also beginners can get to know the famous World Surf Reserve and take surf classes with a trained instructor. It is absolutely worth attempting and promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Stroll around the charming old town
Ericeira is not only home to good waves and a picturesque coastline but also the town center has a lot to offer. Its white blue houses and little streets make Ericeira a very charming place.
At one of the café's around Jogo da Bola you can try the famous Pastel de Nata and drink a Cafe Galao while you watch surfers carrying their boards, children playing in the square and locals chatting on the street. After you can visit the surf shops or wander in the plentiful streets in town.
Beach Hopping
Beach Hopping is always a good idea in Ericeira. In town you can choose between Praia do Sul, the south beach (where you have also a natural pool) or Praia do Norte, the north beach and praia de São Sebastião. If you are looking for a calmer sea where you can have a dip without big waves, choose praia pescadores, fisherman’s beach.
Heading north you will find one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of Ericeira, Ribeira d'ilhas that has also a cool café; instead on the south end of the town you will find the beach called Foz do Lizandro with several cafes and restaurants where you can have lunch or drinks.
How to get to Ericeira
Uber: The easiest and fastest way to get to Ericeira is taking an Uber from the airport. This takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes. Usually it costs between 30 to 40 € - depending on the time of the day.
Metro and Bus: You can also take the metro and the bus to Ericeira. From the airport there is a metro to Campo Grande and from there buses are driving to Ericeira several times a day. Some of them only take around 50 minutes. To make sure you are taking the right bus, ask the driver if this is the fast bus.
